"Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I will meet you there." ~Rumi
My primary goal in working with clients is to create a safe space for them to speak their truth, explore their thoughts and emotions and ultimately to discover who they are. When this is achieved, the stage is set for us to co-create visions of a bright future where clients get to live the life they’ve always dreamed of.
I am a certified Energy Codes® Coach and Facilitator and studied Dr. Sue Morter’s Energy Codes® coursework, having completed 3 of 4.5 levels of in-depth training with the Morter Institute. I am also a Personal & Professional Certified Coach (PPCC), a certification I obtained from Concordia University’s John Molson Executive School. I am a member in good standing and accredited by the International Coaching Federation, the world's largest global federation for coaches.
In that program, I learned the foundations of traditional coaching models and techniques that have helped coaching clients achieve their goals for more than 3 decades. As a result of this training and my continuous learning in the fields of coaching, personal development and spirituality, my clients benefit from working with a coach who brings deep presence, active listening (both for what is communicated and for what may be left unsaid), and reflective inquiry through thought-provoking questions. I am committed to empowering my clients so that they can take concrete action that moves them forward in life, while ensuring they take accountability to follow through on their plans. I encourage my clients to treat the time between sessions as a living laboratory. And I provide my clients with inspiring resources and practices to enable noticeable and sustained change.
I have degrees from McGill University in English Literature and the University of Toronto in Education. I also love learning about psychology, energy healing, trauma, consciousness, intuition, dreams and dog training (my dogs Nermil, Cricket and Gigi love to sit nearby during client sessions!).
Prior to being a coach, I have been an educator, teacher, trainer, workshop facilitator, program and course designer and learning advisor to c-suite executives and leaders for two of Canada’s largest financial institutions. I was also the National Program Director for the Canadian Centre for Diversity, an experience that took me across Canada and parts of Europe to work with youth of all ages in the pursuit of a world free from discrimination and hate.
My dedication to the development, growth and success of others has taught me that the most significant change comes from learning through personal experience, self-reflection and committed action towards one’s goals and dreams.
It is my honour and joy to accompany my clients on their journeys of transformation and to facilitate the unlocking of their inner wisdom, which enables alignment to their essential selves and soul’s purpose. I have discovered for myself and the people I work with that healing, inner-peace and the realization of one’s dreams are actually a by-product that occurs when we free ourselves from the confines of the ego-based mind and personality and step into the wholeness and magnificence of the true Self.
